Delhi Elections : Why BJP Deserves to loose?

IT IS less than 10 hours for Delhi to go to polls. The din of campaign has settled down but TV channels have literally made the mockery of whole process by survey reports, interviews of political leaders as also their shows whereby majority seem to inclined towards BJP but.......

THE BJP has committed several self goal even when Mr. Modi and Mr. Shah are at the helm. First, they said that they won't project any face for CM's post but would fight with Mr. Modi as their face. Subsequently, they para trooped  Ms. Bedi. Second, they did not bring their Election Manifesto and replaced it with Vision Document (which is no more than a policy guideline, not promises) that did not mention statehood for Delhi. Even in Vision Document they have not specified their goals.

DELHI has been under President's rule for the last almost one year, directly under Mr. Modi for the last eight months but they have nothing to show of their achievements/programs/policies positives affecting Delhiites. How can Delhi wallas trust Mr. Modi for what he promises today but has done nothing for the people of Delhi in the last eight months?

DURING election campaign, arrogance of BJP was quite visible. Various organs of RSS are angry with them for their anti-people policies. Farmers, labour, lower middle class, minorities and now even some traders (because of the advt language abusing the gotra of Kejrival) comprising a major part of electorate are not happy. The claim of Mr. Shah in a TV interview yesterday that Rs. 15 lakhs was used by Mr. Modi only as a phrase during Lok Sabha has not gone down well with poor people. Besides the language of dear PM during campaign did not behove him.

A LOT more can be said but the myth spread by BJP that Mr. Modi is invincible must end. That may bring new political discourse and even new politics is not my concern. But BJP government, following neoliberal policies of previous government, must learn some lesson.
